2. What data we collect
This is a simple marketing website. We keep data collection to a minimum:
- When you contact us — via the contact form, or by email, telephone or WhatsApp: your name, email, optional phone number, the service you're interested in and your message. Contact-form submissions are processed on our behalf by Netlify Forms; the email, phone and WhatsApp buttons open your own app, so we only receive what you send.
- Technical/server data: our host records standard server logs (including IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site.
- Language preference: if you switch between English and French, your choice is stored locally in your browser (not sent to us).
- When you subscribe to our newsletter — via a signup form or the AI Automation Starter Kit offer: your email address and optional first name. Newsletter signups are processed on our behalf by MailerLite, use double opt-in (you confirm by email before anything is sent), and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and there is no tracking pixel or advertising network on this site.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide our services — on the basis of steps taken at your request / our legitimate interest in answering you.
- To operate and secure the website — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a safe, functioning site.
- To send you our newsletter and the Starter Kit — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
4. Third-party services (processors & transfers)
To run the site we rely on the following providers. Some load content directly in your browser, which necessarily discloses your IP address to them:

Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA (e.g. to the USA), those transfers rely on the providers' appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we enter into a project together (in which case we keep records for as long as needed for the engagement and any legal or accounting obligations). Server logs are retained for a short period by our host.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you are based (UK GDPR, EU GDPR and applicable Swiss law), you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@lxrydesigns.com.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); in France, the CNIL; or your local authority.
7. Cookies
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses your browser's local storage only to remember your language choice — a functional preference you can clear at any time in your browser settings.
